unanswered questions

It’s nice
so nice
so wonderful it is
today
It’s not
nice
any more
a few (what?) seconds?
minutes
hours
later
why?
a question rings inside
mine
her head
why life is this train
on that track?
you’re
just a little
wooden
pawn
dancing
on the chessboard
a big
chessboard
of the universe
what for?
I
she asks herself
trying to catch
last bits
of understanding
with bottomless
hope
she

hides them
deep down
behind
strongly beating heart
it’s dark
again
can someone light a candle?

  1. Life does seem like this too much of the time but if we keep fresh batteries nearby we don’t have to wait for someone to light the candle…we have flashlights!!!! Way more powerful!!
