I must not fear

“I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.”
The Dune Litany: Fear is the Mind Killer, “Dune” F. Herbert

Brilliant! How empowering! These lines show the path through and out from the mire of pain:
“And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
    Only I will remain.”

my pleasure dear Alia. these are really powerful words, i love them muchly. they just show the way you can look at the fear without being scared. Light and Love to you!

Yes, that’s the key to dispelling the fear isn’t it? Looking at it without judgment, which increases it. Just give it a “nod” and watch it fade. After so many lifetimes of automatically “becoming” the fear, I have finally learned to regard it without adding any more energy to it. Thank you again, Alia

  7. Inspiring poem. It shows strengthen of character to face our fears, That is a extraordinary photo,
